Practical insights from 20 re:build sessions on implementing meditation & practice in regenerative villages.

Definition

Meditation and practice involve regular contemplative activities that support personal and collective transformation. Practices can include daily affirmations, visualization of life energy flowing from your body, and sending positive intentions into the world to support collective spiritual strength.

Methods and Approaches

And I suppose through a process of inward discovery and meditation and yoga and breathing and all these practices that many of us explore and adopt in our daily lives

And the method that makes sense to me is to start at a reasonable extent, and to practice with reasonably low stakes, where the cost of failure is not too high

I think that's what we practice for exploring that actually how to listen to learn and learn a very good people into that process

And I think that's a great way to see this practice

Aside from doing like an immersive training of, you know, maybe along weekend, which, you know, before day training, but also then to be able to have practice groups, where you can use as a facilitator you can bring the examples from your world and work with other facilitators, and other people who are passionate about this kind of a sort of process, so that you can get some practice at it

Benefits

I'm The spiritual dimension for regeneration, helping us go create a culture of healing consciousness happens when we act with the knowing that all places in action are interconnected, being very conscious of the positive impact in the now

Key Insights

Visualization meditation: Visualization meditation helps connect to your highest vision for your project, creating clarity and alignment.

Learning from sacred sites: Exploring the world's most sacred sites reveals what makes them powerful. Some temples (like those in northern Italy) began as meditation chambers and expanded into remarkable spaces, demonstrating how practice spaces can evolve.

Spiritual council: Some communities include spiritual councils that look at things from spiritual perspectives, though implementing this can be challenging.

Regular practice: Regular practice (perhaps once every year or two for major events) helps maintain connection and clarity.

Global practice emergence: After practicing for about 15 years, some practitioners notice that practices are now emerging everywhere simultaneously across all continents—in ideas, food systems, and many other domains.

Legacy of practice: Some people's life legacy becomes creating spaces to practice love—making practice central to their contribution.

Theory and practice balance: There's a need to balance theory with actual practice—theory alone isn't enough.

Spiritual dimension gap: After working with regeneration for over a decade, many practitioners notice a gap where people aren't actively speaking about the spiritual dimension, even though they're all doing it in practice.

Examples and Case Studies

So the way that you actually do this is, you know, visualization meditation to connect to your highest vision for your project

And then when we have the whole infrastructure to hold it, we are focused on making the immersive transformation experiences to focus about the reconnections of humans with themselves with community and nature, but not only in the theory, but putting into practice, putting into projects in their own lives or collaborative ones

Best Practices

  • We're all dealing with all the have practices, but I think I've noticed as a community, it doesn't get much of our attention
  • And that people empower to share our spirituality or and, and our spirituality, or healing, openly and courageously
  • So with that, I would just begin by giving you a taste of the healing consciousness through a very short sweet meditation
  • And we need to collectively remember in practice that we are spiritual beings having a physical presence
