Better World Cameroon
Better World Cameroon promotes youth involvement in sustainable development through permaculture, community living, and African indigenous wisdom. Their flagship Ndanifor Permaculture Ecovillage in Bafut—a UNESCO heritage site—was Cameroon's first and only eco-village before being burned down by soldiers in January 2021 during the ongoing civil war. Part of the team now operates in exile from Portugal through African Way partnership with Tamera Peace Research Centre.
