re:build Netherlands 2024

Thu 9 May - Sun 12 May | Landgoed Rorik, 1948 PK Beverwijk, Netherlands

RECONNECT IN NATURE - GET INSPIRED - START BUILDING TOGETHER

For this event we have chosen Landgoed Rorik as our venue for re:build Netherlands. The founder Atse has built accommodation for up to 48 people using recycled and second hand materials. Rorik also hosts an award winning farm to table greenhouse restaurant, which will also provide us with catering throughout our event.

The programme for this year will offer a mix of presentations and hands on workshops about permaculture design, community living and building using recycled materials. We will also explore topics such as blockchain, cooperative governance, conscious relationships, regenerative business and impact investing.

Just like in 2022, the accommodation will be charged separately from the ticket price.

We have set the ticket price at €370 including all meals and then the accommodation will range from €100 to €160 depending on whether you want to have a shared or single room. If you bring your own tent there is no charge and if you want a parking spot for your camper van then the cost will be €50.

re:build is a self-organised event without sponsors. If the cost of this event is an issue and you really want to be there please contact team@rebuild.events and we can arrange a discounted ticket.

If you live nearby you can just get a ticket below without the accommodation

Why are we gathering & who are we inviting?

We need to transition faster from an oil and gas economy towards a more resilient and circular economy. We need to regenerate our soils, grow more food locally and depend less on imports and global trade. We need to learn how to work together without outdated power structures and hierarchies. We need to be better at designing and building new homes in response to mass migration due to climate or conflict. We need to start building the places, businesses and communities that will enable us to live and work in harmony with nature, and each other. This is what re:build and the wider regenerative movement is all about; re-imagining how we live in the decades to come.

We will be inviting a diverse mix of people and organisations to join us, mostly from across the Netherlands but also some friends from across Europe who can share their expertise and wisdom with us. We will share below some of the organisations, musicians, artists and industry experts who will be joining us as we get closer to the event date...
