Building on the success of our re:build Portugal gathering last year we will be hosting our next European re:build gathering in the Netherlands at Camp Common Grounds, the site of a pioneering co-housing development called Common Woods.
We will explore the fundamental question of what it actually means to build and live in community; how do we make decisions? How do we design affordable and beautiful homes and villages? How do we build local clean energy infrastructure? How do we regenerate the land? How do we grow our food? How do we create trust and belonging? How do we approach money and value distribution?
We hope you can join us!
Throughout the event our amazing cooking team will craft a series of incredible feasts that fully align with re:build's zero waste, veggie, local and seasonal ethos. Expect plant based, seasonal dishes packed with vibrant flavour, colour and a lot of love.

Why join re:build?
We need to transition faster from an oil and gas economy towards a more resilient and circular economy. We need to regenerate our soils, grow more food locally and depend less on imports and global trade. We need to learn how to work together without outdated power structures and hierarchies. We need to be better at designing and building new homes in response to mass migration due to climate or conflict. We need to start building the places, businesses and communities that will enable us to live and work in harmony with nature, and each other.
This is what the re:build movement is all about.
